Introduction
खनन योजना, पट्टाधारकों के द्वारा खनन एवं खनिज (विकास एवं विनियमन) अधिनियम 1957 के अधीन बनाये गए खनिज रियायत नियमावली 1960 के अंतर्गत अहर्ता रखने वाले भूतत्व एवं खनिकर्म निदेशालय में पंजीकृत आर. क्यू. पी. (रजिस्टर्ड क्वालिफाइड पर्सोनल) से तैयार करायी जाती है। खनन योजना में खनन क्षेत्र से निकासी किये जाने वाले खनिज की मात्रा तथा उक्त खनिज का तकनीकी एवं पर्यावरणीय दृष्टिकोण से खनन संक्रियों को संचालित किए जाने का विधि का वर्णन निहित होता है। खनन योजना को निदेशक के द्वारा अनुमोदत किया जाता है, जिस हेतु रुपए 50,000/- खनन योजना अनुमोदन शुल्क़ निर्धारित है। अनुमोदित खनन योजना के अनुसार खनन कार्य किया जाता है।
Mining plans are prepared by Registered Qualified Persons (RQPs) registered with the Directorate of Geology and Mining, who possess the qualifications prescribed under the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, framed under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. The mining plan contains details regarding the quantity of minerals to be extracted from the mining area, along with the methodology for carrying out mining operations from technical and environmental perspectives. The mining plan is approved by the Director, for which a mining plan approval fee of ?50,000/- is prescribed. Mining operations are carried out in accordance with the approved mining plan.
