An application, along with all the required documents, is submitted to the office of the District Mining Officer for the establishment of a Stone Crusher/Screening Plant and for storage of minor minerals within the plant premises. Thereafter, the District Mining Officer forwards a letter to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) for conducting a joint site inspection. The SDM fixes a date for the joint inspection and directs the concerned officers accordingly. The joint inspection report prepared by the constituted committee is subsequently submitted to the District Magistrate. Thereafter, the District Magistrate forwards the proposal to the Directorate for the establishment of the Stone Crusher/Screening Plant and for storage of minor minerals within the plant premises. The Directorate subsequently forwards the proposal to the Government. Thereafter, the Government grants permission for a period of 10 years for the establishment of the Stone Crusher/Screening Plant and storage of minor minerals within the plant premises.
