An application, along with all the required documents, is submitted to the office of the District Mining Officer for the establishment of a Mobile Stone Crusher/Mobile Screening Plant and for storage of minor minerals within the plant premises. Thereafter, the District Mining Officer forwards a letter to the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) for conducting a joint site inspection. The concerned SDM fixes a date for the joint inspection and directs the concerned officials accordingly. Thereafter, the District Mining Officer forwards the joint inspection report along with all relevant documents to the Directorate. Subsequently, the Directorate grants permission for the operation of the Mobile Stone Crusher/Mobile Screening Plant and for storage of minor minerals within the plant premises for a period of two years or until the date of completion of the project construction, whichever is earlier.
